Each assignment is kept confidential, and no detail is shared without the clients express permission. A private office is available for meetings outside the clients premises if needed and interviews, meetings and discussions can be held there on request.

About Paul Gartner

  • Paul Gartner has over 25 years experience as the Director of Human Resources in a variety of companies and industries.

    Paul has a deep knowledge of Human Resources as a generalist, as well as having a specialist focus in the areas of Human Resources Shared Services, Industrial Relations, Organisational Design, Change Management, H.R Strategy, Executive Coaching and Leadership. With several mergers and acquisitions under his belt, he adds real value to organizations undergoing these and other major changes, and will position Human Resources to fulfil its critical role of unlocking the Human Capacity of the organization.

    From a background in Retail Management from Woolworths, he led the Woolworths Groups Compensation and Benefits function, and was then appointed as Group Human Resources Manager for Shoecorp, then part of Amrel/SAB.

    Later, as OD manager for Sales House, he gained valuable experience in this complex function, and then led The Cold Chain, one of South Africas leading perishable Supply Chain companies, as HR Director.

    For several years he was the Group Human Resources Director for Relyant Retail, then Southern Africas 3rd largest furniture retailer with 9000 employees in 10 companies and multi-Billion Rand sales.
